three choices:

1) get Cat to tell us a story.
2) enter all the passwords on the Ride of your Life webpage
3) Actually get on a bike and ride???

or

4) do some work at work...

I hate rest days...

Here's a thought for the day... With Tom Watson coming close to winning in the British Open, I was thinking that the TdF should have a jersey for best "veteran" rider... The Grey Jersey.  They have a best young rider, why not have a best old rider?  It could be awarded for over-36 or 37.  There's one guy in this year's tour who I thought I heard was 40!!!

Thoughts?

Well I know... people have still been riding in their early 40s at the TDF... look at Zabel and Ekimov

So maybe over 35 or 36?

I like that idea.  LA's not used to the conventional team jersey....

WOW, an endorsement from Cat.  It's almost a done-deal then isn't it?  But after thinking about it, Silver is better than Grey...

Maybe we should write it in to ask Bobke?

Think about the advertising.  Centrum Silver Jersey.  Viagra Silver Jersey. AARP Silver Jersey.

I've seen this young lady...
I'd like to get a Yetti from her!!!

I don't like the girl with the crazy bangs though.  Do you know the one I'm talking about?

Those podium cermonies are weird:

I guess the St. Bernard is apropriate for today's stage. But is it Petit or Grand?

Did he keep that Saint Bernard? I bet he didn't.  My wife had a good point "do you think he'll have to drag that dog along the rest of the race?"  I think it's only right...

Seems like everyone still thinks it's a rest day

NONE of my picks are in the break. But I think it will all come back together. Surely some of the GC boys will try their luck?

unnecessary. But funny.

Your boy Jens is up in that 1st chase huh?

I got to see before I left for work how bad the polka dots look with liquigas green shorts.  I guess he just feels more comfortable in the green shorts...

I guess Jens is there to pull for the Schlecks later on. Or go for glory if that doesn't work out. He's a proper hard man.
