Subject: Cable or Satellite
Currently have dish network, but looking to upgrade to HD package. Wanted to see if any others had ideas about Comcast cable over DN? I also have DSL through them, but have no need for a house phone!

Thoughts?

check out AT&T Uverse if you can.  relatively new but pretty sweet.  i switched from comcast to Uverse about 8mos ago and wouldn't go back.  pro's and con's to both, but better value imo with Uverse (not to mention almost everyone working at comcast are about as smart as a 4th grader).

We also switched from Comcast to AT&T.  The IPTV concept is pretty sweet and we're actually paying less with AT&T for the same channel lineup.

For HD Direct TV was the best for us. We got mad and dropped them and went to Dish a while back and have hated it ever since!

You mean you guys have time to watch television???  I ditched this about the same time I started triathlon.  One of the best decisions I've ver made.

I'd stay away from At&t uverse.  The boxes are glitchty and they constantly need replacement.  Dish network customer service is not very good but their HD lineup is not bad.  DTV if my favorite out of all and is what I use.  Comcast is ok but not great.  The user interface for the DVR's kinda stinks IMO.
