Your memory is better than mine. Is this normal, or are there usually more? I've watched too many Giros & Vueltas to remember. The course this year was very tame in terms of climbs and mountains... in terms of finishes but also in terms of the challenging climbs and stages... I would have liked a lot more difficult climbs andchallening stages... it did feel like they kept it safe.... wanted a show down on Ventoux but Contador was so far ahead.... took some of the potency out of it... |

Think Bertie took Ventoux easy, keeping in mind that mans 3rd place. He could have taken the Schlecks apart. Garate heh! I thought he had no hope from what he had done previously. Ex Quick Step rider too. I did try to keep some of my picks within the QS or ex QS riders. I think with Andy looking out for Frank and Contador for Lance too.... that kept it together perhaps more than it might have under different circumstances...
