Guy at the LBS is getting rid of a set, they are in good shape (at least from my once over) and true. Tubulars and come with an extra tire. Green Stickers. Anybody know how these things ride? Are they worth $300? Not a lot of info on them out there, anybody know of any further reading?

I should probably be tending my collar as opposed to looking at wheels but...oh well.

No bike pro but if I am not mistaken the 440's were out before 404's so that would make them about 7 - 10yrs old. For $300/pair they would still be a good buy in my opinion.
