Taper or Rest First Tri on Sunday!I'm doing my first tri on Sunday, too, so I'm far from tri experienced but I would think you should take the day off or go light on the foot, i.e., swim and/or bike but no run. I have knee issues so I know where you're coming from in trying to make this decision. I've made it myself a few times along the way. However, it's your first tri so you're not going for a PR and one extra day of training on a questionable foot is likely not going to make a difference. Extra rest/going easy could. GL! |
