Hats off to the volunteers and sponsors, but weren't those conditions brutal this AM?

My cousin did it and told me the conditions - especially during the run - were conditions somebody would never, ever even consider going out and running in. They were really bad. He said there were puddles 2 and 3 inches deep back in the woods during the run.

I think 2-3 inches would have been on the shallow side for some of those puddles...

The conditions were brutal. But I had fun none the less..

Ahhh my warm bed.  I was going to do this race then I saw the weather and said forget it.  I like racing but not when it's raining that hard.

Scoogie's 1st race in a long time? Figures - the man is a mach-kine! Comes back (1st race in over a year?)and takes the whole thing.

I spoke to Del Monte at Stone Harbor and he said that he ran into Scoogie somewhere earlier in the year. He told Delmo that he has been training really hard and is in great shape.  

Hopefully he'll show up at Marlton Lakes.

Well good luck at Marlton Lakes this year! It would make for a nice race if you, Delmonte and Scoogie all show up and throw down again. I was there watching the race 3 seasons ago when it was you, Scoogie and Delmonte pretty much all grouped together after T2.

It would be good fun to have a solid field again this year.  It's a pretty fun race and a nice course.  Good times.
