Subject: Patriot HIM or Timberman HIM?
Hello neighbors! I am hijacking your forum for help. A  group of women I trained with this year are debating a HIM for next year. We can not decide whether to do the Patriot HIM or the Timberman HIM.

The timing is totally different June vs August - pros and cons to each. If you had to pick a race, which one would you pick? This would be the first HIM for any of us.....Anyone done the Patriot and/or Timberman and can compare or any advice would be great!

I've done patriot the last 2 years and LOVED IT.  I have not done timberman but I have done another of Keiths races and he puts on a class act as well.

I did Patriot and am doing Timberman next week.

so ask me after that!!!!

I am glad patriot was my first HIM - I think overall it is an easier course.  but can give you better feedback AFTER I do Tman!!!
