Subject: run calculator for HIM and IM?
Is there anything like the McMillan calculator that includes HIM and IM run estimates?

Thanks!  I want to start a run focus and was looking for something to correlate a standalone run time (5k/10k) with an IM run split.  I wasn't very clear about that.

I would use this:  http://forum.slowtwitch.com/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=1062155

Assumes all the usual caveats (i.e., suitable training, proper pacing, etc.)

Your ballpark is:  IM run = Open mary time+ 30 minutes, HIM run = open mary run pace.  The calculators are fun though.

Sorry so late, just saw this.

You enter in your best guess prediction times, i.e. x/100 yard avg, mph on bike, and marathon time, along with predicted transition times for T1 and T2, and it throws out a completion time.  Nothing fancy.  I think it calculates, with those times, where you would be on the course at a certain part of the route, ex. if I predicted a 2:38/100 yd swim, with a 5 min. T1, and a 16.4 mph bike avg, then approx. at x:00 a.m./p.m. you'll be at point Y on the course.  Kinda cool (based off of perfect conditions, no problems, etc.)
