45 yr female- just finished augusta ironman 70.3 on sunday. no more races scheduled, am sore/tight in hips, quads and traps. took monday off, easy spin class today (tuesday), planning to swim tomorrow am w/ my friends. any suggestions on swim workout for post race- need to loosen up these rusty joints. thanks! kb

I am going to check back on this thread. I also finished Augusta on Sunday and as going swimming in the a.m.
My workouts for the HIM were building for the distance so nothing I have easy reference to will work as sort of a "build down" from the race. I am starting a winter "maintainance program in about 6 weeks but I have to get there first.
