Weather looks pretty good right now


A few clouds. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the low 50s.

What should I take from this underwhelming response?

Nice; that's how I felt for the week after I posted my Quakerman half race report last month. Guess that's what I get for posting when there was an 'official' 70.3 race and an IM event the same weekend.

I'm not racing at Bassman, but I heard it's a good one. Good luck! Steve

Got my packet and drove the bike course. It's flat! Gotta remember I still have a 13.1 mile run after that.

Bassman was my first HIM back in '07....yep it is flat but it can be windy.

Looks like I forgot this self reminder. Doh! No official numbers yet but I went about 5:46
38 ish swim
2:50 ish bike (avg 20 ish...too fast for me for that distance)
2:15 ish run plus transitions. Ouch. Literally.

Race report to be posted once official numbers are available.

I'll be interested to read your RR once it's up.  I'm looking to do this next year as my first HIM (I'll be moving to NJ come May, and works well for what my plans are.)
