During sign-ups, some people wanted to enter more than one goal this month. Therefore..... You may now have UP TO THREE GOALS for November! You may have one goal, or two, or three. It's up to you. On your team spreadsheet, I've set up an "Example" for you to follow. (This example will not count in your team's totals!) Here is your Team Spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0An7ZkKfHG1L1dGNZRFhtVEVmZ2h... To log on to the spreadsheet, use the following information: Username: [email protected] Password: challengeforum *** If you're already logged onto Google using your own account, you'll need to log out, then log in again with the above information. *** Each team needs to do the following: 1) Pick a team name. 2) Select a team captain. Team captain responsibilities: 1) Remind people when it's time to update the team spreadsheet. (This is the information that I'll use to determine the team standings.) 2) Let me know if there's a problem. (For example, a team member hasn't reported in for two weeks, etc.) When you have selected a team name, let me know and I'll change your thread name. Dee Edited by D001 2009-11-04 10:47 AM |

I am a surgery resident from Chicago who just finished my second season of tris. I am starting to train for a HM...Currently shooting for RNR Nashville....Guess I need to actually sign up huh... I have some PF issues so I am not going to have a running goal. Right now I am trying to decide between a nutrition tracking goal and a strength/yoga goal...Guess I have 24 hours to figure it out. |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Team 1 - November You-Pick-It Challenge Hi team! If you don't know me, I'm Jen. Been around BT for a little while. I had gallbladder surgery at the beginning of October and got cleared today to start running!! My goals for November are: bike - 12 sessions (3x/week) run - 8 sessions (2x/week) Right now, I'm not going for distance when I run, just running easy and listening to my body to get back in it. I'm going to do my best to follow JorgeM's winter cycling plan on the bike. Looking forward to November!! |

Expert 1246 West Grove, PA | Subject: RE: Team 1 - November You-Pick-It Challenge Hello all. My name is Bill, I work in banking, live in PA and just finished my second season of triathlons. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am just trying to keep running, biking and swimming through the offseason. Last year, I shut it down COMPLETELY after my last race in late September and did nothing Tri-related until January (played racquetball for 3+ months). I gained a good amount of weight and felt like I was starting from scratch in January. This year, I completed my first HIM and have already signed up for another (Ironman Syracuse 70.3). My goal is pretty basic for November. Each week, spend 45 min running, 45 min swimming and 45 min biking. Good luck everyone! |

Pro 4482 NJ | Subject: RE: Team 1 - November You-Pick-It Challenge Evening everyone! This will definitely be a chatty (and fun) group. My name is Kim and I live in NJ. I was planning to "pick" running as my challenge this month as I'm signed up for a half mary on Nov 22nd. However, my knee is grumping so I'll probably replace that with aqua-jogging and set my goal as sessions...hoping to still be able to run the HM. Will enter goals tomorrow. Off to watch the Halloween Critical Mass ride. |

So if you are in a hockey market let me know and maybe we can get some training in together, as long as you grant me access to a shower after wards. Think I'm getting sick just a head cold now so trying to beat it into submission. New to tri's actually just started training in Sept, and completed a sprint (beat my goal b7 33 secs) and a du (beat my goal by 4:30). Love it!! Shooting for Timberman HIM next year. Now lets go kick some !!! |

I did play as a kid in Minnesota though! I've checked out your blog, and you've got a really great story. Let's have a lot of fun in November, and have a good time preparing for Timberman! |

I have decided to go with the nutrition tracking as my goal (Dee- is that ok?) My goal is 25 out of 30 days. I am giving myself a 5 day leeway because who really wants to list everything they eat on Thanksgiving and I am sure there will be a day or two that I jjust plain forget! |

Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: Team 1 - November You-Pick-It Challenge Helloo chatty team1!! I am Kathy and probably shouldn't be hangin with so many ghoulies until tomorrow.... But that is just old dust in the crypt. I have been on BT for just over a year and did my first Tri since 2004 this past August- on Oly. Now I would like to do a HIM but am now sure which. I am also signed up for a HM in late Feb. But my real challenge is swimming!! I am not good about getting to the pool. I will make that my goal this month. Six swims of at least 30 minutes!!!! Plan my first one tomorrow. |
