Do you own P90x? Are you trying to integrate those strength videos into your tri training?

Join this group of beginners to P90X (me) and some veterans (please step up and identify yourself!) and be part of the Peach 90X Challenge--- 3 peach squares on your calendar representing a P90x workout each week for the month of January!!!

I am in!  I did Week 2 Day 1 this morning.  Did just P90X for the first week but need to fit running into it now.  Can't wait until week 4 following the doubles.  Doing a 10 mile run the end of March.

i am in the last 3 weeks of p90x. I did nothing but it for the first 9 weeks, and will now be adding swim on day 1, bike on day 3 and run on day 5 of the routine. After it ends I'll got to a pretty much all Swim/Bike/Run training adding 2 strength sessions and 1 stretch session a week!

At least I hope I will

SO TELL US, cgayde- do you feel awesome after all that P90X?? Inspire us!

I am starting tomorrow with a yoga (I think) in the AM.  I am not sure about how to fit all the P90x in with all the tri sports but I am gonna work at it and hopefully we can figure it out together-- !!

Would it be more effective if we split this group up into teams to keep motivation level up??

I will probably start tomorrow as well so I can keep my bike stuff on m,w,f. As soon as my Plantar Faciitis feels better I will start running again.

I think for now Aquinn we should or can be just together and help each other get through the first month. After that maybe teams would work a bit better.

Good to know that I'm not the only one to feel that way. This was day one for me, and this combo kicked my butt. I also had shoveled over a foot of heavy snow earlier in the day, so that probably didn't help .

I'm planning to follow the classic program in its entirety, plus some S/B/R as I can.

If it's not too late, include me in on this too for January. I'd like to start on this too with Monday the 4th being Day #1. Good program for the winter months.

Core Synergistics is definitely my favorite one....tough but fun!

Did chest & back this evening and a 2.5 mile go on the treadmill this afternoon.  I will do ab ripper x tomorrow.....my least favorite one.

I didn't realize how long the sessions were.  I had to adjust the aspect ratio on my TV so I couldn't see the timer.

I've been through the book at least 10 times and I can't find the 'couch potato' routine.

Keep up the good work everybody!!!

I'm not doing the full program as I can't fit it in with my regular tri training, but I will be using the videos as supplementary strength training through the winter.  I should be good for three peaches a week, although the yoga session will be a live yoga class rather than the Yoga X.

Yes, that's my plan too- supplementing half-marathon (April) and tri (June) training with 3 days of the "X"-- but do you have any rhyme or reason as to which DVDs you will use in your supplementing? I was thinking maybe plyo, core and yoga-- but would be interested in hearing your thoughts, herridge, or anyone else's......

This is going to be fun! I'm a long time, multi-round X'er and have experience integrating the X with tri training, as well as other Beachbody programs (X+, Insanity, ChaLean Extreme) - hopefully I can help with any questions people might have about how to integrate these kinds of programs into a s/b/r schedule!

Full disclosure - I'm also a Beachbody Coach (sort of like a Mary Kay lady for Beachbody programs!). If you don't already have a BB coach assigned to you, I'd love it if you formally signed up with me. It doesn't cost anything, and you'll be associated with me formally so I can give you a heads up on any upcoming BB programs or new products. I promise that I'm not very high touch - you won't hear from me much unsolicited! I'd also really appreciate it if you ordered anything from BB via my site - you'll get the same prices offered anywhere else, but cheaper shipping (as compared to ordering directly through BB), and again, I'll have you in my database. Check out my site in the link in my sig for more info.

Happy X'ing!

It's deceptively wicked, isn't it???? Love that workout. Also, keep that one in mind as a good full body workout when you get to in-season training. I find that it works really well for that purpose.
