Subject: RE: Car verse BikeAs others have said, there is no way I'd do either of the two things you mentioned. I would buy a used, but reliable car for fairly cheap. I don't know where you live, but I just randomly picked Seattle and found a car (in mere seconds ) that would be totally reliable for years to come for around $6K. It even has a roof rack. Then I would spend another $2K or so on a tri bike. And then I would save/invest the other $2K. By the way, I've been in my career for 5 years now and have never had $10,000 just to plunk down on something. Oh, the joys of being a teacher! |
