I agree with it and when I wrestled in the summers at intensive camps where it was 80-90 degrees and 90 percent humidity that if your urine wasn't clear you needed to drink more water. Wouldn't taking vitamins possibly make your urine darker though? Think excess vit that is excreted through urine when in excess.

Yes.  That is why color is not the best indicator always.  If you pee every 2-3 hours you are well hydrated.

Do you have a print version?  I'd like to to be able to bring it out on the course so I can check up periodically during the race.  Tongue out

They should make them as the faces of Keith Olberman and Rush Limbaugh.  You pee on their face and the uring collects in a tube along the side so you can match up the color.

I have trouble urinating in neat rectangular form, is there a chart that resembles puddles so that I can check with more ease?

Well it is apparent that this particular chart is for turtle pee and it is well known that the pee in rectangles.

I like the turtle mascot on the top.  Who wouldn't want branding on a urine chart?

Someone at my work posted one of these type charts in the bathroom. It was good for at least six hours of pee jokes. I see this thread flowing in the same direction.Laughing

I've seen this same chart in a pro football locker room with the team physician's name (for an IV) next to #7 and the name & number of the local medical examiner next to #8.

That's interesting.  I've seen it before, but does anybody else here find this to be true with personal experience?  Especially in this hellishly hot and humid summer we're having, I've noticed that on days with really long runs and/or biking, despite being very hydrated, and continuing to do so for the remainder of the day, I am finding myself STILL dehydrated...but my urine is as clear as a bell.

Are these Microsoft colours or actual urine sample colours?  I agree with above that if you're pee is baby poop brown as in #8, hydration is no longer a worry...

Out of curiosity, does this take into account the water in the toilet bowl which dilutes the color?

Not sure what happened here ... submitted the post you see below but it came up blank, was able to browse backward into my cache and copy what I typed and re-submitted the post ... weird.
