Subject: Wow is this correct?
I am trying to follow a custom plan created on the custom plan creator.  It says I'm supposed to bike for 32 mins or for 10 miles or so.  I havent been following the plan for the bike other than riding on the days it says I'm supposed to.  However here is what it says to do:

Bike: Warmup: 15 minutes /4.80 miles

HR Zone: 1RPE: 1-4
Easy spinning in the smaller chainrings at a cadence between 75-90 rpm to get warmed-up
Main Set:02m /0.80 miles

Set #1 02m  / 0.79 miles
 Endurance
 HR Zone: 1-2  RPE: 1-7
This is an endurance workout, try to keep your cadence between 85-95 rpm. Do this part of the ride on a course that is flat or with gentle rolling hills.
Cooldown: 15 minutes /4.80 miles

 HR Zone: 1 RPE: 1-4
Easy spinning in the smaller chainrings at a cadence between 75-85 rpm for your cooldown

Seems odd that the warm up and cool down are both 15 mins and the main set is only 2 min???  How the heck is biking for 2 mins any kind of endurance ride? Dont get me wrong I am not complaining as I am trying to follow the computrainer PIG program anyway.  Does this seem odd to anyone else? Undecided

No reason to do 2 minutes at that kind of effort...there's a mistake somewhere.

I haven't used the custom plan creator (I'm assuming this is the BT custom plan creator) but it seems like there is something wrong.

Could it be that you specified you wanted your bike workouts to be 30-35 minutes, and this is what it created?  Maybe there is some type of default that says the warmup and cooldown have to be 15 minutes no matter how long the overall workout is...therefore it spit out this type of workout?  Maybe if you asked for bike workouts in the 60 minute range, it would be more like 15 WU/30 MS/15 CD?

Just taking a shot in the dark...

Can you let me know the distance selected, your paces (the bike), and if a level 1, 2 or 3?  Was this a short, med or long bike?

That would be my guess as well.  If it's trying to hit a certain amount of volume for the week it knows you need a 32' bike ride and it will always do a 15wu/15cd so it makes the main set 2' to make the volume work for the week.

I didn't get any comments like that in my custom plan, just time and distance.  Is that because he is Silver and I am Bronze?

The fact that he was silver and imported the plan with details was a bug that we 'corrected' last night.

I am updating all membership info now to reflect the new stuff...

Ok thanks Ron... Would this mean I need to re-import?  I believe this was an Olympic Distance Maint with 4 runs and 4 bikes.

The bike was either a medium or short ride I cant remember which.

Ok, the previous posters are correct on 'why' this is occuring.  I need to verify it though and we can put some better checks in...

Been so busy checking the set data I missed this broad issue.  Yeah, 7 is too high for endurance, will get that updated.  Thanks for the catch.
