Subject: RE: Superbowl XLVI think they are two complete teams so I could see this one going either way. Pro for the Steelers: Dick LeBeau has incredible talent in Harrison and Woodley. They have speed and power and make a nasty tandem. Troy Palamalu is obviously very athletic. Con for the Steelers: Zone defenses are sometimes easier to pick apart for a guy like Rogers. Brady does it all the time with a short and quick passing attack. Also, while talented, Palamalu needs to learn to hit and wrap instead of the hard shoulder hits. Another con is the stability of the offensive line, especially at center. Pro for the Packers: Very solid secondary could make the Steelers one dimensional. If that happens, the Packers have the defensive line and linebackers to shut down the run. Maybe not on every play, but enough to stop long drives. Con for the Packers: They looked great the past three playoff games but games like that take a toll. While they did well against the Bears in the first half, the 3rd string QB started showing that the Pack may be able to be chewed up with a short passing attack. The Steelers are good at that, when mixing it with the run. Ben isn't a 3rd string QB who will say that he "didn't see" a 340lb guy in the secondary. |
