Subject: Inspires Link Redirects
As of this morning, whenever I click on the "inspire me" link, it redirects me to the same page, or whoever's training log I was viewing and doesn't open the box. It was fine for me yesterday (on 2 different computers). I wasn't in the office yesterday, but I don't think anyone touched my computer. I even tried my help desk's favorite solution of shutting down and re-booting. No luck. Any thoughts?

I was able to go in and read today's inspires, came back out to the forums, and went back in and it happened again. Couldn't read mine or go to anyone else's.

anybody else? 

so you are clicking on the 'inspire me' links WITHIN your own blog, then it redirects you to the persons you were veiwing before?  just want to make sure i have this right.

Close. If I click on the inspire me in my log, it reverts back to my log. If I were to click on it in your (or anyone else's) log, it would go back to your log. Whoever's log I'm in, that's what it reverts to. Hope that helps. Thanks for looking into it!

its supposed to work that way?

clicking on 'inspire me' within your blog days, will essentially refresh the page and open up that days of comments in a new window.

so similiarly, clicking on 'inspire me' in anothers log will just refresh their log and open up the comments for that persons log.

so if its doing the above, it should be working correctly.

No window opens and I don't get any message about pop-ups being blocked. Maybe that's what's happening though? I've never noticed that the page refreshes though. Typically if a pop-up gets blocked, I get a little thing at the top of my computer indicating as much. No such luck this time. Maybe it'll work on a different computer. Or if there's a way to check for pop-up blockers, I'd be open to that. Thanks again.

It's a pop-up blocker most likely.  Next time it happens, try holding the CTRL key down while you click on the inspire me.

My computer has pop-up blockers enabled (but I have this site on "always allow pop-ups" but it seems to somewhat randomly NOT allow the inspire me page to come up.

So, sometimes I need to hold the CTRL key and sometimes I don't.

The CTRL key is what bypasses my pop-up blocker.  So, if I hold the CTRL key while clicking, the pop-up will appear, if it was blocked.  I guess yours is different.

Problem solved. I think. It was pop-up blocker and involved the CTRL key. When viewing something else, a message popped up saying to hold down CTRL while hitting refresh button to view pop-ups. So I tried that here, and then clicked the inspire me and it worked. For some reason my dumb computer didn't say that when I was struggling with it all morning. Thanks for the help!
