Subject: Problems, importing training log
Good Morning, I am in the process of trying to migrate my data from Training Peaks to BT.  I have attached the file that I am trying to import; but I seem to be having little success. Is this because I have the wrong type of membership or is there something FUBAR on myside?  Any help that you could provide would be great.

Importing to and using the Planned Training log requires a Performance Membership.

Mike,

I appreciate you getting back to me; I just processed the silver level charge and I am getting the same error "WORKOUTTYPE" when I try to import the CSV file.

I am looking at your CSV, it isn't working due to it not being in our import format...BUT...first, I see a mix of planned and actual training.  If you want to just import this log into your ACTUAL training, that is free - and I can just put all data in 'actual'.  If you wanted the 'planned training' imported into your planned training log separately...yes...that is Bronze.

Let me know exactly what you want to do, regardless, you don't need Silver to do this unless you want the training plans and this can be refunded.

I can then customize this import for you and do it for you...it may take several days.

ALSO, can you export from TP though 'keeping your empty days' (days w/ no workouts) in the export?  Will make it a little more easier on me.

Listen to Ron on this.

I'm surrounded by screaming kids on their Feb. break and not thinking clearly...

Ron,

Thank you, all I was looking to do was to get my actuals from TP into BT as I would like to use this platform moving forward.  If I do not need the silver for that great; but also can I look to see what the silver also delivers prior to asking for a refund?

When I went back to training peaks it did not give me the option to leave blank days in (there should not be that many).  As well when I am trying to upload from my Edge 800 it finds the device but it never progress beyond 0% and ideas?  I am sure that I have the most recent garmin communicator plugin.

Allright, I just cleaned up the CSV, going to have marmadaddy uplaod it on the database, TP CSV is very different than BT's and it's a lot of data, sorry it's taken this long, we should have it finished soon.

You can see silver plans buy clicking on 'View Silver' and 'View first 2 weeks details.'

I saw the note that you were able to convert my .csv file and that is awesome thank you!  What do I need to do to get the file uploaded into my logs?  As well if this is possible without the silver plan; can I ask that a credit be processed for the silver plan?

Give me a little more time.  I wasn't as easy to just take the sheet and upload it on the database...I will have to manually fully convert the TP format.  Yes, no problem on the refund, I will get that too...

Ron - 2011-03-04 12:09 PM Almost done!  I should have it this weekend. Lot of work...we need to get a TP->BT converter made.

Ron with the new API it should be pretty easy, actually.  TP has an api for exporting workouts, should be easy enough to write something up web or client based to create BT workouts from TP ones.  I've been thinking about doing that for personal use since my coach puts all my workouts in TP and I have to copy them over every day.

Yikes!  That was fun.  Your TP log has been converted and uploaded.  EVERY number needed converted since everything is in 'meters' on a TP export...plus the format was totally different.  Data range was 11/5/2010-2/20/2011

I also refunded you the Silver since you didn't need it for what you wanted to do.

Attached is your TP log in BT version...though you have a uploaded copy of it in your settings under 'My Training Plans'.
