Don't know why, I have weird tendency to burst into song when I bike outdoor. Yesterday it was Queen's "Bicycle Race." Today I sang "Happy days are here again". Perhaps I am one of those "strange encounters on the trail."

We should post our "theme song du jour." Since one cannot wear headphones while biking on trail s (per city ordinance), and I do not have a boombox on my wheels, I have to sing to keep myself entertained.

I'm so guilty of this...singing loud and off key too because really, who is up at 5 am to yell at me? Some times it's "Rainbow Connection" a'la kermit the frog, othertimes there's a bit of John Denver "Country Roads" and sometimes there's a bit of Decemberists or my punk rock roots coming out.

I sing, I whisltle and I don't care about what others think about me.  Most drivers think I'm nuts anyways for riding a bike to work!  This morning I was singing: Bizet's "Toreador".  Picture a  205 pound cycling in a 7-Eleven jersey singing "Toreador" at the top of his my voice!  Silly but fun!!

I sing alot when I`m riding, but then again, I sing almost all day long. Any song that pops into my head, or I just make one up. A recent favorite original is "Fat man on a little bike", nust have had that one going for over half an hour!

I also love to sing while surfing- usually when I`m alone so that I can sing at the top of my lungs.

SURF-A, SURF-A, SURF-A,
A- SURF, SURF, SURF!

I was silently singing Rainbow Connection when I rode yesterday!  I didn't remeber all the lyrics, but kind of remembered the alto part a bit.  If I had been singing out loud, it would sound so wrong

Sometimes I listen to Chinese songs when running.  Tend to sing out load when doing intervals.... especially at the end of a sprint.

On my bike ride on Saturday, I went farther than I had ever been before, and just out of nowhere, I started to singing Conway Twitty's "You've never been this far before"

No singing for me, as I am afraid birds would start falling out of the sky.

You can sing? The best I can manage is:

"oh! ugh! grr! clahh! brrgh! eung!"

And that's only when I'm actually able to exhale.

If I am able to say anything, it's usually obscene.

On the group ride I joined on Sunday, as I was cursing my way up a rather difficult hill, the group leader came up behind me whistling! B!tch.
