Subject: Gatorade commercial with a tri guy
Been seeing this commercial on TV a number of times already. I finally remember to post a thread about it. Who is that guy? The image of him almost collapsing is really scary. Did he pass out? Was he dehydrated?

Yeah, he seems to be ok now - he won the timberman half last weekend - he finished two minutes before I got to T2. Granted, he had about a twenty minute head start...

Wow, Chris Legh is getting around. He won my first half I did in July! Guess he figured out how to stay hydrated.

One of my goals (though not controlable) was to start the run before the first finisher crossed the finish line...that didn't happen, maybe next time.

You ever see the video of, I think her name is Julie Moss, collapsing right before the finish at her first IM kona?  It was back in the early 80's, she was a college student and an ameteur who just wanted to go out and see if she could do it....turns out she was in first place for most of the race and then just collapsed right before the finish.  The second place female passed her and didn't even know it....meanwhile Moss just staggered to the finish and took 2nd.  The video is pretty amazing, you can find it on the web if you google her.  Talk about grit!  Here's an article:
