Hello,

I have been looking into getting a headsweats visor for use while running. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback or possibly a coupon code? Thank you.

They are fantastic. The band is super comfortable and it prevents sweat / sunscreen mix from getting in my eyes. I like it much better than any hat I've ever worn.

Thank you for the information. I see that most of the visors are one size fits all. Anyone have any problems with it being too small? My dome is on the larger side of the spectrum. Thanks again!

Headsweats are freaking fantastic. I sweat a lot and had major problems with sweat burning my eyes before I got one. Not anymore. I even dumped water on my forehead today as a test and the visor absorbed every drop of it.

I have a large dome and mine fits me very comfortably. The only thing I worry about is stretching out the elastic band that goes around my head, but I'll deal with that if/when it happens.

I had a "one size fits all", but not my noggin.  Visor was too big.  I just sewed the elastic part of it to make it fit.  I just invested in a new one though.  After a year of constant wear and sweat and washing, it just stunk too bad.

You won't regret your purchase, I promise!

I have a bunch of made-by-Headsweats visors and hats.  Tons of free ones are handed out.

PM me your address and I'll mail you one if you like - white with Tri Bike Transport logo.  It's a little tight for my taste which is why I don't wear it, but you might like it.  Just don't like elastic bands on my head, I prefer the kind you cinch.

That BruceMorgan he's a straight up kind of guy! And he gets the best SWAG! Not sure where he races but apparently he gets race belts and visors/hats a plenty! I need to live near Bruce so I can get all his hand me downs. He sent me a race belt several months back and it didn't work for me but our 9 year old daughter loves it and uses it in her tri's (see photo in my logs).

Anyhoooo - LOVE my visor never get awesome free stuff like Bruce. Well..... not never I did get one Headsweats hat over a year ago and it is my fav hat. Bought myself the visor over a year ago and not only is it my fav it is my race go to because it is easy to put on and slip under my pony. Most visors are too big for me but as long as I put it under my pony I am good.

Oh and I would give my kingdom (if I had one) for a black Headsweats with 70.3 on it but they all come with that stinkin M dot. I e-mailed them but they never got back with me. LOL

I picked up a Headsweats/Timex visor the other day at a race, and used it on Thursday. It fit great and I couldn't believe how much sweat that thing soaked up. Highly recommend!

I love mine.  I wear it on every run, even on the treadmill, and it keeps sweat from dripping into my eyes.

I throw it in the washer with my laundry after every run and let it air dry and it stays looking new.

Worth every penny.  I'm thinking about buying a few more just so I have extras.

I prefer the headsweats hat. The visor felt good, until I ran. Then it felt like my head was getting squeezed in a vise. The hat can be super loose and not fall off. Still same sweat benefit

I recently received one of these at a race (it was part of the marketing to get folks to sign up for the Hy-Vee 5150 race in Des Moines; nice try). It looks kinda dorky, so I was about to post that I would be happy to mail it to anybody who wanted to take it off my hands. But I thought I should try it out first, and I decided I might just want to keep it, as something to alternate with my Halo headbands. This morning it served me quite well. It was hot and humid for the first 6 miles of my run, and then I was caught in a thunderstorm for the last 2 miles, and it held up well. I have a big dome, and it didn't feel tight.

I have also been using the Headsweats hats. I prefer the hats for dry heat, where their moisture wicking properties have a hope of working. But they don't hold back the sweat from dripping down the face so well. I think the visor is better for that, as it has a solid elastic band.

I have 2 of the Halo's and while I like them I am pretty regularly over flowing them.  After a few miles I'm litterally taking them off and ringing them out every half mile.

How does the headsweats compare to the Halo?

Too early to tell, I'm afraid. The true test of sweat absorption is a long interval session on the bike trainer. I'll feel a bit dumb wearing a visor on an indoor ride. But since looking dorky is one of the things we do best, I'll do the test and report back.

Headsweats supervisor is the only hat I wear on a run (at least in spring/summer/fall).  They are excellent and last forever.  I have 4 I rotate.  The one size elastic band is awesome.  No adjustments needed.  I did have one wear out after 2 year of constant wear and washing.  Now I rotate and wash less and they are going on 3 years use and fit like new.

I lost mine Wednesday evening when I foolishly tucked it into my water belt during a run and didn't notice I somehow knocked it out. I had one ordered and on the way the next morning. A great, comfortable visor compared to others I have worn.

This has been an issue for me as well. I guess I have a pin head. Surprised

Sweatvac visors work just as well. I've used both. I also use a Halo headband.

Any information on any of the 3 you prefer and why?
