It's almost Halloween...prob my fav holiday...

Thanks to the sink that was given to us..and the discount tile...I think this cost us around $200-$250 (Not including the supplies that weren't used up...)

Nice work!

May I suggest, though, to not have the tootbrush and toothpaste holder placed on the mirror?  I foresee lots of continuous cleaning going on.

You should've dared them to run so as to make use of some target practice.

I've been sitting here moping and being stressed out - but I have to put things in perspective and realize that I really do have some great things in my life...

1. Have a fantastic guy

2. Booked a trip to Rome in January with the above mentioned fantastic guy

3. I currently have a job that allows me to afford going on said trip with above mentioned fantastic guy

4. Other good things include fantastic friends, getting to hang out with Kido & Mrs. Kido again tonight, looking at booking another trip in November, Whizzz and Coredump are coming to visit next week, and I still kind of have my health!

I got to watch and videotape my 2nd son perform in his Middle School play.  He did great!

Ran my first 2 miles since recovering from a minor injury about 3 weeks ago.  It went okay.

Wife and kids are heading out of town for the weekend - I'll have the house to myself and will tackle some projects to get the house ready for winter (put away outside garden hoses, cover the air-conditioning fan outside, etc.) and re-organize my side of the closet (it's a mess).  I'll take our Taz dog out to the rural park and let him run.

Most importantly, my dad made it through his surgeries and is recuperating well.

My typhoid has come back, but I've gotten outstanding workup and medical care here in Singapore.

Quite exciting (probably too exciting, but still ... ) I am blown away by having had a 9-hour bike fitting. But "bike fitting" can't remotely approach doing justice to what constituted this multi-step, multi-layered, no-stone-unturned process.

This wasn't a bike fitting. This was a paradigm shift that opened up worlds inside me and outside for me that I didn't fathom before.

What--all the whats--I now have at my disposal are priceless.

Nice looking bathroom Lisa!

I had a great week!

I got let go from my job yesterday. My soul sucking, fat making, sitting in a car for 16+ hours a week job. Seriously, this couldn't be better. I was planning on leaving in January, but was dreading traveling and leaving my family every week to go through the motions till January.

Apparently my boss had noticed I was looking hard for something else and when he called me on it, we decided it was best to part ways now.

I'll be taking over as the service manager at the bike shop I've been a part timer at for the last couple years. My wife and I had already done the budget crunching to know we could make it happen, and I had already spoken with the shop to see if they were still interested. They've been after me to come on full time since I started there part time 2 years ago and were stoked I wanted to do it.

Now that the sting of being let go has diminished, I'm am soo dam happy. I spent the evening last night playing with my kids. I get to spend every night with them now. I get to ride my bike to work and do something I enjoy.

I'm just thankful my wife has realized that having me happy and home every night is more important than money.

I wish, but no. The guy's totally above board, 100% professional. He's a well-known fitter, arguably the best anywhere.

I came through my surgery last Friday with flying colors.  I haven't gone stir crazy being stuck at home with no ability to drive or walk unaided around the house.

I have a wonderful hubby that forgives me when I make a mess out of things.

I have a grandfather that I love dearly (and sadly will probably not be here for Christmas) and is my inspiration for being the best grandma I can be.
