The Ford New York City Triathlon was the best venue I've participated in or volunteered at.  Loved it!

St. Anthony's was a great race venue- amazing expo, good location, scenic, great weather and plenty of places to stay and eat. I will definitely be registering for it come December. Can't wait to reunite with the St. A BT crowd!

Mooseman!

Newfound Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the US!

The bike course hugs the lake, then out into NH farmland and beautiful New England scenery. Great course support.

Run course is on rolling hills along the lake and granite ledges.

Beautiful scenery - takes your mind off the pain (just a little bit). 

- Pristine, clear lake for the swim

- Bike course ranging from screaming downhills of 50 mph to quad burning uphills, where standing on the pedals barely keeps you moving

But the best was the INCREDIBLE CROWDS - all over the course!!!  Felt like a Tour de France and SuperBowl rolled into 1 event.

OK Lake Placid definitely has to take #1.

They have a cable to follow in their water! That alone is enough to push it to first in my book! I was just going on what course I actually raced on myself. (Although I did run the marathon course - one loop of it!)
