Veteran 221 |  Subject: Tell me what you think.....So lets see I was seeing this girl Kelly in Aug. In early Sept. she ended it citing "getting to serious" and some other reason. I didn't really believe her and figured there was something else. My friend Beth who introduced us said Kelly ever really gave an explanation to why she ended it. But this past weekend I found out from Beth's bestfriend that it was because I wouldn't sleep with her.  Its not that I didn't want to sleep with her, she was very good looking. Its just that I don't sleep with someone unless were dating. What can I say, the video's they show in healt class in 7th grade worked on me. Besides I know some people in bad situations. Gotta protect myself somehow. So I'm curious to see if this is a good thing that I do or a bad thing. I'm sure all the guys are probably reading this and thnking I have 3 heads but what do the girls think. Would you end it because of that. Edited by hoff1732 2005-11-14 8:51 AM |

Once you know someone's reasoning, things work out. I would never, ever dump a guy b/c he wanted to be dating me or make sure he liked me b/f he slept with me. Might get a little frisky, but would never dump him  Seriously, there is nothing wrong with what you are doing! |

For me at this time in my life the purpose of dating is to find the person I want to be with the rest of my life. Not to find someone to have a pants party with. I feel that if the girl doesn't understand or respect that then you really wouldn't want to be around her anyway. |

You're the better for it, both in this particular case, and in the larger sense of integrity, character and responsibliity. You can do better and will. |
