Ok, so I ordered a computer on Friday, on sale, got a great deal, was so excited. Was told it would take until about the 21st to get here (fine). Well I get an email Monday saying its already been shipped. Tracked the package Mon and Tues and it was supposed to be delivered YESTERDAY. Well, tracked it this morning its "been returned to Dell" Why? because it didn't have my company address on the label ( I supplied the company address when I orderd it, dell didn't put it on there). WTF!

So, I've been on the phone for over 30 min (STILL ON HOLD RIGHT NOW) so ******* pissed off because they won't resend me the computer. I have to RE-ORDER it and start over. They won't give me back the money for the one already purchased for 15 days, because of the dollar amount. So, I get to run up a $2,000+ charge on my credit card when I order another one. Great.

So, I accept that, go to the website. Well, the exact computer I ordered is NOT on sale anymore!!!

I keep asking this outsourced woman to talk with a supervisor, all I want is the same computer I ordered for the same g*d damn price!

Thats what I'm trying to prevent. I'm so ******* pissed off.

Maybe I'll go to the store.

Tell them your company recorded all voice messages and you checked with the switch board and could not find said voice mail.  They messed up.  Tell them you're not buying anything else and demand they send you the one you paid for.

I did tell them.

As of now (over an hour later), I have the address situation fixed and put a watch on my AmEx for any new charges from dell (like recharging me for the computer or double shipping costs). I told Dell I refused to go through a return/reorder process and if I had to do any more work like that I was ordering an Apple-today.

Dell said they would call me back today once they fix the shipping situation and track down the package.

I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks for letting me explode.

Just wait til it breaks...My Dell hard drive went south and it was about 3 weeks of pain.  I have a Dell laptop at work that is a dream tho.  The worst part was when it was finally fixed and working they incesantly called me wanting feed back.  they even called my office.  I told my assistant to call them back and tell them I had spent the last 3 weeks on hold with them and I wasn't willing to spend any more time telling them how much their service sucked

I have purchased maybe 8 or 10 Dell computers over the years.  I have maybe 6 working ones in the house right now.  When they started they were beating the pants off  IBM, Compaq and HP on price and service.  I cheered and bought their stuff.  They won that battle, and now they are becoming like IBM.  It is a classic American story but still too bad.

Look at the bright side, you'll have something to ***** about over Thanksgiving this year! A perfect way to start the family feud. Slinging taters at one another cuz they told you to get a Dell.

Only three weeks? I envy you. The motherboard on my laptop overheated one to many times and finally died... it was 100% covered by the extended waranty that I got... it took Best Buy a month and a half to get it back to me. And they wonder why I tell them where they can cram it when they offer me the extended plans on there stuff now.

Ok, those mother F*****...UPS called my work, said that they recieved another computer to deliever to me, however, Dell had them cancel the delivery because it was a fraudulent charge?!? WTF?

AMEX knows of the charge, I've spoken with them (my credit is NOT an issue), and there is no reason for it other than they (dell) are the biggest **** ups I've ever seen.

My customer rep was supposed to call me back yesterday, she never did. I called them back around 6 last evening and left a message. I called this morning, left a message. Luckily, I had a supervisors extension, but guess what? No answer. Left a message.

What should I do. How do I get ahold of someone, preferably in the U.S.? I want to go off on them, tell them to shove it, I'm ordering an Apple.
