Nancy says the dog is a motivator to get out of bed and run. So I went ahead and got a dog. Not just any dog, but a dog that is going to be ridiculously active when she grows up. She is 10 weeks old today, cute as heck, but my goodness what work. My cats are taking it in stride and I am looking forward to a short, furry running partner in the coming months!!

Thank you! She is an Australian Cattle Dog (Queensland Heeler) and I adore her markings.

She is an active one.....

Aussie Cattle Dog, a little different from Shepherd. I think the Shepherds are a little cuter, frankly, but this brand had some different qualities that we appreciated. Her name is Kaya, which is a Bob Marley thing. Hubbie named her and it's fairly unique so I'll take it. thanks everyone for humoring me!!!!

SOOOO Cute! I love my beagles, but you can't run with dogs who have to stop every 15 feet to sniff things!

She keeps up her on-line blog (http://blog.liedel.org/) and apparently logs into BT occasionally, but hasn't posted since September. Doesn't answer emails either.
