This last month has sucked for me as well. I have been unemployed since October and my unemployment ran out. So besides looking for work and being depressed because my psoriassis came back with a vengeance I have not done much training. I also spent a lot of time helping out with Katies special olympics team. But since I now have a job I am going to get back into the training. I have one month till my first tri and can't wait. It is going to be hard for me to get on to the site the first couple of weeks as I am getting used to working the C shift. Good luck to everyone in their training.

Skin problems suck!!!!!! I have eczema and there is nothing like a period of stress to get it going like crazy. I empathize with you.

Back to the drawing board. I liked the job a lot but seems that my arms did not. After only two nights both my wrists are swollen and very painful. It hurts just to lift up my pants let alone boxes and materials. So I have been taken off that assignment.

Argh, Kevin. That sounds so frustrating. Be careful of your hands and wrists, though. You only get one set! And also it would be simply awful if you couldn't pull up your own pants! ;o)

Sorry to hear about your wrists.  If they are still swollen, try icing them.  You don't want to get carpal tunnel syndrome and lose function in your hands.

Congrats on your new found job and getting out of unemployment. I,m also in the same boat as you, things seem to be getting slightly better on the job front and finally getting an interview hope I get this job and then I can afford to get a road bike and do a real triathlon race.......
