Did we ever find out if there might be a commercial relationship between BT and a certain identification making website (that shall remain nameless to prevent this thread from being pulled in case there is a conflict) so that those of us holding off on ordering can know if we should continue to wait so that our order benefits BT?

Well, I did receive an email from a BT'er regarding I think, the 'identification' and the affiliate program.  I didn't realize that there would be such an interest.  If so (and please respond) I can get something setup with them asap.  Just let me know, I will do whatever you want.

And if this isn't about that....apologies.

It is about that.  I certainly don't pretend to speak for others, but I'm interested and there have been a couple of threads recently about these.  Several have already ordered and a few of us posted that we are waiting to see if you are 'hooking up' with them.

I think I can speak for others when I say we'd love another way to support BT so if it benefits the site, great.

And to clear the air about posting guidelines, the only thing that's discouraged is outright shilling on behalf of a commercial enterprise by people who have an interest in that commercial enterprise. As BT becomes more popular, we want to avoid the forums becoming cluttered with spam. Other than that, mention away. Such as:

I have a Cervelo One bike, an Ironman wetsuit, Nike goggles, Speedo Jammers, and Nashbar bike shorts. Last season I wore a Team Javelin tri suit. Loved it. This season I'll be a floating/rolling/shuffling billboard for BT. I haven't settled on a hydration/recovery drink but I live for Black Cherry\Almond Clif bars. LemonLime Accelerade literally makes me gag. The customer service at TriSports.com is world class. Russ and Debbie, the owners of Tri Running and Walking are incredibly nice people.

I also own a few Fender Precisions and while I loved my Gallien Kreuger, I find that the tube pre-amp in my SWR gives me some more tonal flexibility than a totally solid state amp.

In trying to decipher the code, I think what they are talking about is the potential ability to order Road ID through a link from BT so that BT gets some of the proceeds.  Correct me if I'm wrong, guys/gals!

No, I'm saying that while I can appreciate the tone from a good solid state bass amp, I really prefer the warmth that can only come from tubes.

And don't even get me started on the Line6 stuff.
