Haven't seen a Chipotle related thread lately. What gives?

I noticed that Chipotle has gotten stingy with their food ever since the IPO. Actually, it started since they filed the S-1 for the IPO. Also, the kid's menu is gone.

Very disappointed.

I have only been to Qdoba once. It's nice that the they have torilla soup (with chicken!) Wasn't impressed by the burrito bol there. May be it deserves a second review.

qdoba is donkey. i actually was impressed at chipotle yesterday. maybe its just my local joint, but yesterdays burrito was plentiful. and just a word to the wise... if you want extra, just ask. the only thing they charge extra for will be the meat. and sometimes if you wink and smile, they don't even charge you for that. then again, it just might be that i'm so charming.

I can't remember the last time I went to Chipotle...maybe its b/c I've been spoiled by Freebirds!

Kids menu gone? dammit. Maybe I'll take myself tomorrow for lunch. Or, maybe not.

Meat is the best part! Haven't had much luck getting extra stuff for free at Chipotle yet. I have had luck with *$ many times before. The ordering mechanism at Chipotle is so stressful that I can't fully work my charm.

Location location location. The Chipotle by my house (where the Olympic gymnastic medalists the Hamm twins eat!) is a pretty small burrito maker. But the one by my alma mater, University of Dayton, loads you up.

I haven't noticed any change to the Chipotle generocity (is that even a word) at my local 'Le.  I'm thinking that stingy-ness is likely a factor of your local franchisee than a factor of corporate-wide lockdown on sizes.

My local 'Le is only about a couple of months old and the owner is a pretty cool guy.  I went in the other day around 2:30 and he was working the counter.  When I asked for a Fajita Burrito he asked if I wanted to wait a couple of minutes for some fresher peppers to come out, instead of just giving me the colder ones that had been sitting in the steam table.  Then, he gave me a free coke while I waited.

I've noticed that the Chipotles near me have gotten stingy and that everything has gotten way more spicy.  The  last 2 timesI was there, my burrito was so spicy that I could barely eat it.  This is with mild salsa.  I eat somewhat spicy food, but this was ridiculous.

On the other hand, I love Qdoba.  One is opening up on my campus.  Very exciting.
