I saw this in the US News and World Report that we got in last week:

Here's the latest indication that Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is running for president. A fatty turned jogger, he's planning a repeat in this year's Little Rock Marathon. Because he's the governor, he can request a number, and last year he chose No.1. Not too subtle there. This year, we're told, a staffer requested 2008.

Did someone actually think it was important for a Governor to have the #1?  Doesn't that seem like "small penis insecurity" thinking?

Well, to me it sounds like a PR flack -- either for the governor or for the race -- doing their job. Governor has number 1374? No story, either for the governor or the race director. Governor has number 1? Cutesy human interest story promoting the politician and the race both.

Governor has #666? Politician's PR person is looking for a new job.

The point of the story was that the Governor reportedly is getting #2008 this year.

Meaning he is "running" for President in the next election.

Well at least he did something positive as a politician........he lost weight........And it will most likely be him running for President along with the other 500 republican candidates. I am not sure if anyone else lost weight though........
