What was hilarious was watching the guitar players from other bands finger the solos along with the guys on stage who were playing covers of their songs.

I'll bet they weren't even aware they were doing it. If you play a piece of music enough this happens automatically. Violinists do the same thing when they hear a piece from the standard classical repetoire.

Anyway, this got me to thinking that maybe its the endorphins, maybe its the pain, maybe its the oxy deprivation, but things just seem more bizarre and twisted when I'm working out. Anyone else have this experience?

Every day.  However, since the tri training is a relatively phenomenon in my life and the insanity has been pretty consistent for a long time I don't think I can blame it on the excersize.

When I swim it seems like everything looks more purple than it should. Maybe it's the tint in my goggles or something.

Last night, I'm Doing AN LSD Run

Try the run without the LSD and see if that helps. Otherwise maybe get a disco ball installed above your trainer and cover the walls with mirrors. You will BE the sci-fi channel then.

Perhaps I need LDS instead. It worked for Captain Kirk.

Really? I hadn't heard that. It was the 60's so I guess it shouldn't surprise me.
