Buttercup 14334 | Subject: RE: New Year Activities You can never go wrong with red. With your skin tones and dark features, red would be the way to go. Beyond that, I have nothing helpful to suggest. My sister is going to have a NYE party, but I am finding her to be too emotional to be around when she drinks - and she's an easy drunk (2+ drinks). She has some sibling issues with my other sister and I don't enjoy being around that; it is unfun. I think I am going to focus on a NY morning breakfast, prepare brioche and, perhaps, sticky buns, rather than doing the NYE partying. Maybe I'll go for a late night NYE run along our beautiful bay. That sounds much more inviting to me than doing the late night drinking. Priorities change as you age. |

Pro 4528 Norwalk, Connecticut | Subject: RE: New Year Activities Red dress all the way!!! I go for a 2 hour bike ride with friends for coffee and to watch other friends do a polar plunge on New Years day. I have not gotten intoxicated on NYE in probably 10 years, maybe longer. Star Wars cooking cutters rule!!!

Sent the invites out last night. First Annual Sticky Bun Run. Running along the bay in the morning, followed by eats at my house. Did I mention the brioche dough/sticky buns call for 5 sticks of butter? 2.5 cups. 1lb, 4 oz. Buttery perfection. |

I believe I have your email address, but just in case, would you PM it to me? I'll send you the deets. I will be in my smelly running clothes, so don't worry about dress. However, you are welcome to use my shower to cleanup and change if you so desire. |

Expert 3145 Scottsdale, AZ | Subject: RE: New Year Activities Ridiculously indulgent NYE dinner at an amazing steak house with lots of good wine. After that, friend's company (vodka distributor) is putting on a bash at one of the local, nice resorts so it's free everything once there. Car service to tote us around and then NY will be brunch with friends somewhere still yet to be determined.
Oh, go with the red dress. Don't see enough sexy red dresses floating around out there. |

Extreme Veteran 930 Fort Worth, TX | Subject: RE: New Year Activities Apparently I have hit "old dude" status I will be chaperoning my son's annual NYE birthday party. He turns 13 this year so it will be interesting. His birthday is a few days earlier, but he loves to have his party on NYE. Last year he and his buddies set a poster of Bieber on fire and danced around it, then went and TP'd a friend's house. This year I don't think we'll burn anything - I'm thinking more along the lines of going to Main Event and letting them loose for bowling, pizza and lazer tag. And yes, all the other kids' parents thank us every year for making it so easy for them to have the night off! I will definitely be up running, or cycling, the next morning! Then I will wait patiently for 2-4 weeks for the massive crowds at the gym/pool to begin thinning out as the resolutions start to fade... As for the OP - a red dress on a beautiful woman is always a good thing! |

As for the OP - a red dress on a beautiful woman is always a good thing! It gets worse, my 19-year-old son is sleeping at his girlfriends house on NYE. Fortunately her parents will be there and her dad is a big dude. My other son wants to see his cousins, so I will be spending NYE at my sister's house. Both of their kids and my brother-in-law play hockey and are having all the parents and kids from both of their sons teams over, so I will likely get quietly hammered and smile a lot. |
