Subject: Droid versiono of Siri ?
Finally getting a smartphone after sacrificing my upgrades for the family. Really like the 4S iphones and the Siri looks neat. Just curious if there is anything close to Siri for Droids ? I like the Galaxy Nexus and the Razor Maxx a lot too. I could google it but that would deprive you of upping your post count and feeling smarter. Yes, I know there's a lot more to iphones than Siri and I did search and read the Siri threads... ( the argument between the couple is hilarious ). Just curious.

Pick up my new HTC Evo on Wednesday. Sprint's version is the 4G LTE, for AT&T it is called the Evo One, I think. I am getting the 4G LTE. IMHO, you can't compare it to the 4S in terms of speed, flexibility, etc.  Samsung has the Galaxy S3 coming out late summer.  I just prefer Android to iOS. Good luck on your decision.

I thought I wanted a Droid over Apple too but after playing around today with a 4, not even a 4S, I really liked it. Hope you like your new Evo.

I think the Siri thing is cool as heck. I can see myself having fun with that as well as using it seriously.

Ok I cheated. After searching a bit I found a few alternatives.... Vlingo, Iris, and Speak to it Assistant. Curious as to how these work.
