So next year we are celebrating our 15th anniversary and I want to go away. (Yes, it is early but I am an uber planner.)  Hubby travels every week so we have a ton of airline and Marriott points.  I would really like to go someplace exotic like Dubai but I don't think I can convince him of that so I was thinking Caribbean, specifically St. Thomas, St. Kitts and Nevis, Curacao, Costa Rica?  Or go another way and go to Hawaii?  Thoughts?  I want beautiful beaches, luxury, scuba diving would be great.  As long as it has a Marriott on it, it is a possibility.

Go to Pattaya Thailand. Beautiful, fairly inexpensive, and a lot of fun things to do. You can day trip to a lot of other cool places in Thailand.

Marriott has a luxury hotel in the Maldives.

If you want to scuba or snorkel then I would recommend Bonaire. Not sure if there is a Marriott there.  Just got back from St. Martin and that was great.  Great beaches and restaurants, not so great snorkeling.  Here is another idea.  We are headed to France on a bike tour for our 30th in September.  We splurged and will be doing a Dordogne to Burgundy supported ride, from inn to inn.  For our 25th we climbed Kilimanjaro.  Sorry, no Marriotts on those.

Are you looking for super relaxing or an option with some activities (in addition to scuba/snorkel)?

In my experience the best scuba places don't have great beaches.

Bonaire - white coral beaches, beautiful but not a "plop down a blanket" sort of place.

Also, Cozumel, awesome scuba but limited beaches.   Actually, if there's a Marriot resort it might have a nice beaches and recommend it.

I second the vote for Thailand, Ranks number Two of my favorite trips of a lifetime.  We bopped around the country, and really enjoyed Krabi, Chang Mai, and the three days in the jungle next to Mayanmar with the Karen tribe people..  Oh yeah, My wife enjoyed shopping in Bangkok..
