Subject: $5 bike rental!
My hotel in Seattle (the Mediterranean in Queen Anne) has $5 bike/helmet/lock rentals!!! I'm so happy I don't care that it's a heavy 3 speed with no lights and a broken bell. It's so nice to be able to ride around Seattle. The hills are steep though, so I am missing my roadie and its trusty brakes. Still, $5/day bike rental!? WHEEEEEEE!

When we went to Charleston, SC in the spring, they had bike rentals at the hotel where we were staying.  Nothing great, but I don't think it cost anything, just had to sign up for them.

The weather in Seattle was faaaantastic, although months without rain is disturbing, and not good for farmers. My husband and I felt kind of sad and guilty that we had such sunny, beautiful, Mt. Rainier revealing weather.

A great hotel in Portsmouth NH that has included bike rentals is Ale House Inn. I wish more hotels had bike rentals!
