I will be there, but I am running with a neighbor that is just getting started so we will be doing the 10k. I think it is the day before.

Doing the 5k and the Ultra.

This will be the second medal, I heard they will integrate with the next star...

Oh my....sigh....those are some smart marketing folks.  You know I'm a sucker too!  We may wind up being the ones they feature someday for having run like 25 of the darned things by the time we're 70 .

Re: the belt buckle. 

Is this a new campaign starting next year, when the star collection is over? 

Something I'd be very interested in since I couldn't do the star. 

Yo Tambien! Or something like that. Trip # 5 to ft worth for 26.2mi of completely unpredictable weather. Training was going great till about a week ago. Icing Achillies tendon as we speak.

The belt buckle is intruiging but I am ready to be done with ft worth. Come to think of it, kinda ready to be done with stand alone marathons for a while. But that star sure will look nice. This was my first ever marathon 5 years ago. Crazy.

Same here - and it was ON my 30th birthday! I thought it was the best way to celebrate

Hhhm. cant claim to have been 30. come to think of it, cant really remember 30.

My wife and I did our first half there last year ON her 33rd birthday.

Less than 2 weeks - you guys ready?

Did a last "long" run yesterday and resorted to 10 miles on the treadmill as the winds were in the 45mph range. It actually wasn't bad at all.

I am ready.

Wrapped up last (peak) week with 62total miles for the week and a single long run of 27miles!

sinus infection. Feels like my head is in a vice. On day 2 of antibiotics.

But I got 2x20mi and a 22 and if I can be at those spots at those times sunday after next I will be in a good spot.

Now it's time to start stressing about the weather
