Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: March Challenge (Pick your goals!) You don't need March Madness, when you can have the March Challenge instead! RUN away from the Taser! BIKE away from the Taser! SWIM away from the Taser! It's your choice - but stay ahead of that Taser! For this challenge, you can set goals in ONE to FOUR activities. You can participate in one activity, or two, or three or four. It's up to you!... You define the activities. You set the goals. Only want to swim once? Only want to bike once? YOU decide, and set your goals accordingly. To participate: Sign up on this Google spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0An7ZkKfHG1L1dFgzUFBzdVV... (February Challenge Participants: Welcome to the black hole of the challenge forum. You're already signed up. Muhahaha.) You will need to enter the following information to access the spreadsheet: email address: [email protected] password: challengeforum2 If you can't access the spreadsheet: Scroll to the bottom, and look at the bottom right corner. If it says, "edit this page," click that link and enter the info above. If there are enough participants, this will be a team challenge. Otherwise, this will be an individual challenge, with occasional taserings updates provided throughout the month. The ultimate goal of this Challenge is to push yourself in an activity (or activities), to work out, to meet fellow BTers (virtually or otherwise), and to have some fun! Hopefully, this Challenge will give you a little extra incentive and motivation to succeed at your goals – whatever they may be. Welcome to the Challenge! - Dee Edited by D001 2013-03-01 11:44 PM |

Member 390 | Subject: RE: March Challenge (Pick your goals!) guess I will up my goals for this month since I meet them all last month. Its just hard because I hate to fail. Also being a special education teacher I am trained to write achievable goals for my students so it would make sence I would do the same for myself. Sue |

Sue What if you up last month's goals by 5%? That would give you a bit more of a challenge, but may not be overwhelming. |

Except maybe Guiness? (Beer. Bleh. I prefer my alcohol with fruit and little umbrellas in it.. ) |

Sue Great Job Sue everybody will want you on their team Except that we don't have teams this month.... Actually, I was thinking about adding names to the spreadsheet in the order in which people finished last month's challenge, and telling everyone to 'defend' their position, or attempt to move up. It would have been a challenge within the challenge..... But I decided to go alphabetically instead. Maybe I should do this next month. Hm.... |

Elite 3489 Lakewood, CO | Subject: RE: March Challenge (Pick your goals!) Love the "automatic renewal" now to tweak the goals for a 31 day month with day light savings time and spring kicking in. Ok, 85 miles running to stay on pace with the energizer bunny in the 1000 mile club, reset the 12 hours on the bike and actually use my trainer during the week and keep the strength/workout sessions @ 8 until I hit it then bump it up to 3 times a week. Hopefully a better balance among the 3 goals this month. Edited by peto_primo 2013-03-02 10:53 PM |

I figure it works for credit cards, banks and magazines, so why not the challenge forum, too? LOL |

Extreme Veteran 1222 Tallahassee, Florida | Subject: RE: March Challenge (Pick your goals!) Sigh, I was going to take March off from the challenges to see if I could find my mojo but it looks like it is Hotel California, you can check out anytime you want but you can never leave. I'll think of some goals for this month and enter them. |

Elite 4201 washington state | Subject: RE: March Challenge (Pick your goals!) I finally registered for an event in June. It is a 10k. I won't be at all competitive except with myself! It is on packed sand along the ocean, so no matter what I will enjoy myself!
I hope I can do a tri in late summer, but that will depend on me getting back together with my bike. We have some differences that we have to work out. |
