But here is a fun shark fact - the size of a shark can be estimated by measuring a tooth. Each inch (measured along the side) equals about 10 feet of shark. So a 2 inch tooth came from a 20 foot shark. And my 5 inch megalodon fossil came from a 50 foot meg. (And I have seen meg teeth that were even bigger - up to 7 inches! - although 6 inches is more commonly found as the biggest ones in a collection) |

Then, when we were are Myrtle Beach, he would scatter them around on the beach and sit back and watch people freak out when they found them. That's what you call entertainment for a guy who was born before TV was invented.
