bike rack collapsed and I felt sick to my stomach. 2 other bikes landed on mine. they were doing that all day. I paid to get bike repaired the next day. grrr. can't believe I was still under a minute :)

think I took 2nd for the women in the run. some girl was smoking by me with over 3 miles to go. This hurt and I wanted to quit. I surpassed my goals though. kept under a 8 minute pace :)

Course: pretty flat and confusing. ughhh. back and forth in parking lot. volunteer upset me when she shrugged her shoulders. she didn't know where to send me. I panicked and yelled.

I just started doing tris this summer and I have two under my belt, both sprints. Is it reasonable to build up for a Oly in early ‘09, with a HIM in Oct of ‘09

You’re probably not going to get it just right immediately. Like always, just do the best you can and keep on keeping on. Don’t get upset if you don’t hit the target every time.
