Subject: mp4 to dvd
does anyone know how to burn an mp4 file to dvd so I can play it in my dvd player?
I would like to transfer my sufferfest videos.

Read your DVD's manual. Some of them can read mp4s so you can just burn the file to the DVD. Some have thumbdrive ports so you could just put it on a thumbdirve and play it straight from there.

unfortunately it's an older dvd player that I want to use downstairs and it doesn't do either.

Then you would need a program that will burn dvd video files. I think most programs like nero that will burn files to a dvd will also have a way to make a video dvd. depending on your version even Microsoft media player I believe can do it. It would just be super slow from what I have heard.

I found a program online that will convert it, unfortunately in standard definition and not high def but at least it's works
