Subject: 2012 Cervelo P2 parts...Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL front wheel
My 2012 Cervelo P2 (with me on it) got smushed by a lady in a Ford Escape on June 5, 2013, southeast of Phoenix. She hit me in the left rear triangle and demolished the frame and rear wheel. Everything else is good to go and I am parting it out, except for the saddle and the brakes which are going to my wife's bike. My bike had around 2500 miles on it and was serviced and cleaned monthly.

I have these to offer up for sale. Prices include shipping and as always, are negotiable as well. I'm not looking to get rich, just to find a good home where these parts can be used. PM me for pictures as I'm pretty lame about getting pictures up here, although I'll do my best this afternoon when I get home.

Excuse my ignorance on the proper terminology of certain parts as I am pretty ignorant and stupid and what the parts are called.

Cervelo P2 front fork (red/black/white lettering) with 4 big spacers and 1 little one (about half the size of the big ones), the "collar" and the top cap that says "Cervelo" on it $125

3T Aura Pro handlebars with the 3T clip on aero bars that have a very slight S bend in them. Ultegra end shifters, TRP brake levers (no cables and the left one is a little scuffed on the outside edge, cosmetic only), 3T stem (no idea the measurement here) $300

Cervelo aero P2 seatpost (I do have the clamp as well) $70

XLab Sonic rear seat bottle holder (this is the attachment only...it has one carbon fiber bottle holder but it is cracked...it still works, it just looks ugly) $30

Fizik Arione Tri 2 saddle (red/black) $40

Ultegra front derraileur (no idea what model #) $25

Ultegra rear derraileur (no idea what model #) $40

FSA Gossamer 50/34 crank with the FSA Mega Expo bottom bracket (I think...the big bearing thing) and both cranks which are FSA 170mm $75

Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL front wheel (spins true, no damage at all) $225

ALL the items are from a stock 2012 P2, so the information I'm getting is from the Cervelo website where it lists what the items are on the stock bike. I changed nothing on the bike from stock, except the wheels.

I need this stuff out of my house...so shoot me an offer.

My back wheel needs to be trued up. It has a slight side-to-side wobble, and I feel at times like I'm going to lose control when I ride. Is this something that I should only trust to my LBS to do?

The wheels are my first area of concern and I have started to shop around. I find it nauseating to think of spending the same amount for wheels as my bike. Any help?

Don't know how to take that rear wheel off of your bike? Is the chain making things difficult? Learn how to remove your rear wheel if you have to change your bike tire or fix a flat.

This article estimates how much time can be saved in sprint races by converting from stock aero wheels found on most tri bikes to more aero disk and composite spoked wheels.
