Not a continuation of my help a non-believer thread.

Has the TV show jumped the shark?  And killed the shark on the way over?  Or is it just me?

I'm not sure if it has jumped the shark quite yet, but I've personally been pretty disappointed with this season.

I've watched a few from this season and it's just the same old same old show. Nothing new really. Same nerd jokes. I think it has played out a bit but some people said the same thing about Seinfeld too.

Yeah, tough one.  I've been watching it from the beginning and I've noticed Sheldon has changed quite a bit this season.  Somehow he seems to have acquired this sarcastic humor which he never had before.  He also seems a bit less rigid and starting to show some human side (which I don't like).  I've also noticed I haven't laughed quite as much as other seasons, but I am not confident the show has reached the point of no return yet.  I guess only time will tell.

this kind of happens to all shows that have no determinate lifespan.  eventually they just run out of good ideas.  there is no over-arching theme or story from season to season so (like seinfeld or friends or whatever) they will continue writing episodes until they lose the viewership.

Not for me...yet.
It's still one of my top shows, alongside Key & Peele, The League, Colbert Report, New Girl, etc...

Apparently I live my life in 30-minute comedy increments.

This is one of my favorite shows....I think it's been a good season. I thought the Thanksgiving episode was very good! That said, this isn't the best season.....

I was concerned during the first episode or two this season that they had jumped the shark, but then I really enjoyed the rest of the season.
