My question would be why did they do an US if the culture is clean? To be honest not sure what fullness of the right renal collection system means....maybe a little hydronephrosis? Radiologists always want another test. Might be looking for a stone. I can ask a urology friend if u like. Pm me if u want Edited by Socks 2014-03-05 9:14 PM |

![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Hi, I am not a doctor, It sort of sounds like kidney reflux may be causing this (vesicoureteral reflux.) The most common sign is a UTI. There can be a couple different causes, congenital.. a defect he was born with or a blockage, like a stone or crease causing urine to back flow back in to the kidney causing fullness because the urine isn't draining. Good job on staying on top of this... this can cause kidney scarring and kidney disease down the road if infections aren't treated. Sending positive energy your way. ![]() |
