I couldn't watch the first episode all the way through, I thought if it was going to be like that the entire time, no way.  Wife said it got better and a little more intriguing, so I finished it.  3 episodes in, have to say it's an interesting twist on the typical victorian era horror archetypes, frankenstein, dracula, and portrait of dorian gray.

Anyone else tuning in?

I have the first three recorded.  Made a deal with the wife that we will watch the first one (maybe two) and if we like it, keep on watching...   We'll see.

Commit to watching the first one....   If you get through the first 15 minutes it gets less intense.

I am intrigued by what I have read about it.  I didn't think I would get a chance to watch it since I do not have Showitme, but found it on Hulu last night.  Now I just need the kids to go to bed early enough for me to watch it.

FYI, Hulu is only airing the pilot episode.  Not the rest of the season.

Ugh.  Now I'm not sure I want to watch it.  Nobody likes a tease.

Watched E03 last night. It appears that they are lining up a whole bunch of evil beings and supernatural characters to do battle with. Sounds vaguely familiar...cough cough, True Blood? Difference so far is PD has a much darker sinister feel to it and the acting is light years ahead of TB. Eva Green had the hair standing up on the back of my neck in the seance scene!

Finally got caught up through ep4 last night and I'm really liking it so far.

I wasn't all that excited to see the title of ep3 was "Seance", but I agree, Eva Green took things to an impressive and unexpected whole new level.

I also expected to be bored with Dorian Gray as a character, but the actor is so charismatic, he has made him pretty intriguing.

Some of the supporting characters - Proteus, the Egyptologist,  Fenton have been awesome.

That seance scene was so unexpected and awesome, and it just kept going.

Evan and Dorian from end of Ep 4 .  Also unexpected!
