Subject: RE: Alligator's Creek TriathlonWell, here's the skinny: Bring your small chainrings!! There are some fun decents on this course, but some very challenging climbs as well. (the worst perpetrator comes towards the end of the race, at the end of Guthrie Rd.) I would definitely describe the course as being more than "rolling." Right out of the TA, there is some tough climbing to be done. Not much of a "welcome to the race course, have a nice day" kind of start. But the scenery sure is nice. Seems like a lot of it will be very shady. Smooth for the most part, but there are some spots on Terra Ln where you have to be careful. If we want to pick a spot to meet up at some point, I think the playground will work. it's right next to the pool. 'Fraid I can't help with the lodging. I'm not familiar with the area at all. ~B |
