Subject: Volunteering
Hey Folks,

Thinking about volunteering at the Muskoka 70.3, and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to what job was the best, I am not trying to be picky or lazy, they just seem to have every job still available to do and I am open to suggestions!

Thanks for taking the time to volunteer.  Not sure on the "best" job, and it's certainly not glamorous, but for me the people at the water/snack stations are a godsend.

Hey Justin,

My Dad has volunteered in Muskoka the last 2 years that I've raced it. He was part of the water team both years, and made sure he got positioned on the stairs where the swimmers exited. He says it was non-stop hauling swimmers up the stairs. You're completely soaked by the time you're done. He had a blast. And then, if you're up for it, you can head out on to the run course to an aid station.

Everyone and anyone that has ever raced in a triathlon should take it upon themselves to volunteer at just one event next season. It is an eye-opening and inspirational experience.
