Good morning!

5am:  :20 minute walk just to get moving

5:30am:  upper body strength

At 7am:  heading out to chase CC runners

At 9am:  heading out with PP (kind of like that!  Lol!) to ride at some elevation west of town--time to really see what this new bike can do!

Rest of the day will be spent trying to find a way to stay cool--might have to break out the sprinklers or water balloons!

Have a great day!

6:01 (yes, that precise) - 45' endurance swim workout, which kicked my butt

6:55 - 15' core work

Tomorrow will be my first ride on my TT bike since my accident over a year ago. Mixed emotions, but hoping some inspiration for a name for it comes about. Have a great day, everyone!

Hello ~~

1 1/2 hrs strong ride this morning. Did my fastest 40K ever and that was on the road with a bunch of stops. No plans for anything else today but work.

Have a good day!

Morning!
5:30am - 6 mile run - felt extra good which is weird since I felt SO tired yesterday! I'll take it - even my hip didn't complain - hooray!

Now getting ready to throw one of my closest friends a going away party - she's moving to Dallas, Texas ! So so sad since she and I are pretty much inseparable during the school year and our kids are super close friends. Guess it will give us an opportunity to travel to visit, but still bummed.

So was up at 4:30am getting all the food in the crock pots, and now continuing to food prep, decorate (Western theme of course) and get ready for when people get here at 4pm - yikes!

Went swimming at a different pool tonight hoping that it would be cooler than the other one I've been going to. Nope! It had to have been 90 degrees....

Speaking of heat, Susan I heard on NPR this morning about the heat wave in Phoenix. The construction crew have to pour their concrete at night!

This morning I got my 2 minute plank in and then out for a run in the subdivision. I got in a little more than 2 and 1/2 miles before I ran out of time. My wife had an exercise class at the Y so I needed to be home before she left for that to watch our daughter.

After that I went all in on demolishing our above ground pool and its deck. I got about half the deck tore out before I got too tired to do much else. Then I got our daughter off to swim practice and picked up a saw that should make short work of cutting the boards I pulled up small enough for the trash collectors to pick up. Usually people are borrowing tools from me; this is a nice switch!

Tomorrow is going to be an early morning bike ride followed by more demo on the deck. Hopefully I will have time and energy to hit the high school pool for a few laps too.

Have a great evening,

J White
