Subject: Argon 18 E80 vs. Fuji D6
Hi All - looking to buy my first TRI bike for a full Ironman in late summer (first attempt). Need to buy used, and am having trouble deciding between a 2012 Argon 18 E80 and a 2009 Fuji D6 (same price, similar usage, and all original components). Would appreciate any experienced comments/insights/suggestions. Thanks!

They're both decent bikes, neither one of them are super bikes, but you get what you pay for. Good enough not to hold anyone back though.

Most importantly, buy the one that fits you. The fit is quite different between the two, so if one fits, there's a good chance the other won't.

If you're tall, be careful. The Fuji D6 has unusually long/low reach & stack at the high end of it's size range (top two sizes). Even in the middle sizes, it tends be a little lower at the front for the ~same reach that most bikes, including the E80. .

The boat was being tossed around. Someone noted that there were whitecaps on the waves. Another guy said, “This is going to be challenging.” I began to wonder what he meant by 'challenging'.
