Subject: Marathon Training w/Weekly MileageHey all. I'm two years out from "serious" marathon training (life & stuff... you know ). But now I'm back. To keep things simple, I have in the past trained by setting weekly mileage goals. Starting this month, for example, I plan on running 30/week, 40/miles the following month, and so on... capping out at 70/week a month out of the marathon. Of course, mostly slow & rarely fast.
I've PR'd twice on this "training method" (sub 3:30's ). But I ain't getting any younger. Wonder if the BT'rs see something wrong w/my approach.
