Help me price my bike (PLEASE)

 DC |  Subject: Help me price my bike (PLEASE)"Upgrading" to new bike. Need to sell this one (so says wife) & wondering what's a fair price. Flo 60's have less than 200 miles. 30's have a never used rear rim. What's a fair market value? Thanks in advance for your thoughts. Do you have the stock wheels? I ask because my first bike mechanic told me the two things that are always worth putting some money into are a saddle and wheel sets because anytime you up-grade a bike you can swap them off the bike you sell and them put them on the up-graded bike. Are up upgrading the bike and the wheels? I got my up-graded wheels with low miles on them for about 40% of MSPR. Bikes sold with up-graded wheels usually go for a little less than the bike and wheels would go for if sold separate. You might get as much as 60% MSRP for your wheels.

I’d put a set of the 30s on the bike and try to sell it for $600-700 with the extra rear rim. The used bike market can be brutal and that bike is outdated by the speed concept. That said, it’d be a great starter bike for someone. |

Thanks for taking the time to reply. $670 for a frame this old seem awfully high unless I include the wheels (don't have stocks) which would mean the frame would go for around $100. Meh, all part of the "expense" of the sport. 60% for the wheels sounds spot on. |

However, I'm getting a Speed Concept and the base trim are specked w/Bontrager Aeolus Comp 5 (aluminum rim w/50mm carbon fairing). If anything, I'll sell those before the Flos! |
